The short version
- We collect what you give us (your name, contact details and the tax details you choose to describe) plus basic information about how you use this site.
- We use it to reply to you, to connect you with independent help if you ask, and to run and improve the site.
- We never ask for your Social Security number, bank logins or card numbers on this site.
- Some of what we do can count as a “sale” or “sharing” under state privacy laws. You can opt out at any time on the Do Not Sell or Share page.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete your information. Call (877) 577-1203 or email [email protected].
This Privacy Policy explains how Calldrive, LLC (“Calldrive,” “we” or “us”) handles personal information on No Tax Pay. We have written it in plain language on purpose. If anything is unclear, please ask us.
Who we are and what this policy covers
No Tax Pay is an intake and referral service for people dealing with IRS or state tax problems. You tell us what is going on, a member of our team responds, and, if you ask, we may connect you with an independent provider or point you to official government resources. We are not a law firm, a CPA or accounting firm, a tax preparer or a government agency.
This policy covers:
- notaxpay.com and any page that links to this policy;
- phone calls, voicemails, text messages, emails and chats between you and us; and
- forms you submit to us, including forms that are hosted for us by our platform provider.
It does not cover other websites we link to, such as IRS.gov, or the independent tax professionals and companies we may connect you with (“Referral Partners”). Once you deal with them directly, their own policies apply.

What information we collect
The table lists the categories of personal information we collected over the past 12 months, with examples and where each category comes from.
| Category | Examples | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Identifiers and contact details | Name, email address, phone number, city, state or ZIP code if you give it, IP address, cookie and device identifiers. | You; your browser or device; our website platform; the advertising platform, if you arrived from one of our ads. |
| Details about your tax matter | Which agency is involved, the kind of problem (a notice, a balance, unfiled returns, collection, an audit, a business or payroll matter), a short description in your own words, and how you prefer to be contacted. | You; Referral Partners, who may tell us whether they reached you. |
| Internet and device activity | Pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, campaign tags in the web address, date and time of visits, browser type and operating system. | Collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, by us and by our platform, analytics and advertising providers. |
| Approximate location | City or region worked out from your IP address. We do not collect precise location. | Your device or connection, through our platform. |
| Recordings and communications | Recordings of calls with us, voicemails, emails, text and chat messages, and records of the consent you gave to be contacted. | You; our phone, text and email providers. |
| Inferences | Conclusions we draw to sort requests, such as the type of matter you described and the kind of help that may suit it. | Drawn by us from the information above. |
Information we do not ask for
Please do not send us your Social Security or taxpayer ID number, bank or card numbers, online-account passwords, driver’s license, or copies of returns and notices. If you send any of these anyway, tell us. We will handle it carefully and delete it where the law allows.
Sensitive personal information
We do not intentionally collect “sensitive personal information” as state laws define it, such as government ID numbers, financial account logins or precise location. What you write in a free-text box or say on a call may hint at financial hardship. We use that only to respond to your request.
How we use your information
- To respond to your request and answer your questions.
- To understand your situation well enough to point you to suitable resources or, if you ask, an independent provider.
- To contact you by phone, text or email about your request and, where you have agreed, about related services (see section 7).
- To run, secure, troubleshoot and improve the site and our processes, and to measure which pages and campaigns are useful.
- To advertise and to measure advertising, including showing our ads to people who visited our site, where advertising tags are active.
- To train our team and check the quality of calls.
- To keep records, resolve disputes, enforce our terms and prevent fraud or misuse.
- To comply with the law and respond to valid legal requests.
We will not use your information for a new purpose that is unrelated to these without telling you first, and asking for your consent where the law requires it.
Who we share information with
| Who | What they may receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Service providers | Identifiers, tax-matter details, communications and device activity. | They run parts of our operation for us under contract: our website, forms, CRM, phone, text and email platform (HighLevel), hosting, analytics, and call recording. They may use the information only to serve us. |
| Referral Partners | Identifiers, tax-matter details and inferences. | Independent tax professionals and tax-resolution companies that may help with your matter. This happens when you ask us to connect you or agree to it when you submit a request. They decide independently how to serve you, and their own policies apply. |
| Advertising and analytics providers | Identifiers such as cookie IDs, device activity and approximate location. | To measure and improve advertising and, where tags are active, to show our ads elsewhere. This can count as “sharing” (see section 5). |
| Government and legal | Whatever the request or situation requires. | Courts, regulators or law enforcement when the law requires it, or to protect rights, safety and security. |
| A successor company | The records we hold. | If we merge, are acquired or reorganize. The protections in this policy would continue to apply, or we would tell you first. |
| People you direct us to | What you ask us to send. | For example, an authorized representative you name. |
Selling and sharing: what it means for you
Some state laws define a “sale” broadly, to include disclosures made for something of value rather than only for money. They define “sharing” as making information available to advertising partners so ads can be shown to you across other sites based on your activity. Depending on how you interact with us, these terms describe part of what we do.
- Referral Partners. We may receive compensation from Referral Partners when you are connected with them. Because state law can treat that as a sale, we handle these disclosures as sales for opt-out purposes. The categories involved are identifiers, tax-matter details and inferences.
- Advertising and measurement. Advertising and analytics tags, when active on our site, may receive identifiers (such as cookie or device IDs), device activity and approximate location. We treat that as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising, or “targeted advertising.”
- Under 18. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18.
- Text-message data. We do not sell or share your text-message opt-in data or your consent records, and we do not share your mobile number with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. If you ask us to connect you with a Referral Partner, we pass along the details you chose to send so they can respond to your request.
You can opt out at any time. Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, call (877) 577-1203, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. You do not need an account, and we will not ask you to pay anything or give up anything to do it.
Cookies, tags and Do Not Track
Cookies and similar technologies are small files and scripts that remember your browser and record how a page is used. We and our providers use them in three ways:
- Essential. To make pages and forms work, keep the site secure and remember basic choices.
- Analytics. To see which pages are visited and how people move through the site.
- Advertising. To measure the results of our ads and, where tags are active, to show our ads to people who visited.
We also read campaign tags in the web address you arrived from (for example, which ad or link brought you here) and pass them to our form so we know where a request came from.
Your controls
- Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Some parts of the site, including our form, may not work without them.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control. We treat it as a request to opt out of sale and sharing.
- Use our opt-out page.
- Adjust ad settings on the platforms you use, or visit the industry opt-out tool at optout.aboutads.info.
Do Not Track. There is no common standard for “Do Not Track” browser signals, so we do not respond to them. We do respond to Global Privacy Control.
Calls, texts and email
- Calls. We may record or monitor calls for quality, training and to keep an accurate record of what you asked for. We tell you at the start of the call. If you would rather not be recorded, say so and ask to continue by email instead. You can ask us to add you to our internal do-not-call list at any time, and you can also register at donotcall.gov.
- Text messages. If you agree on our form, we may text you about your request and related services. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. Full terms are in section 6 of our Terms of Use.
- Email. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. We may still send messages that are directly about a request you made.
Agreeing to marketing calls or texts is not required to make a request.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes in this policy and to meet our legal duties. To decide how long, we look at:
- whether your request is still open or you may follow up;
- legal, tax, accounting and regulatory record-keeping duties that apply to us;
- how long we need to be able to show you consented to be contacted;
- how long we may need to resolve a dispute or claim; and
- security and fraud-prevention needs.
Call recordings and website logs are generally kept for a shorter period than request records. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove what identifies you.
How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, access limits and contracts that require our providers to protect what they handle. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise otherwise. Please do not send sensitive identifiers by email, text or web form. We will never ask for your full Social Security number or passwords by email or text. If someone claiming to be us does, contact us. If a security incident affects your information, we will notify you and authorities as the law requires.
Your privacy rights and how to use them
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights:
- Know and access. Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy, including the categories, sources, purposes and recipients.
- Delete. Ask us to delete personal information we collected from you.
- Correct. Ask us to fix inaccurate information.
- Portability. Receive your information in a portable format where the law provides.
- Opt out. Opt out of the sale of your information, of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, and of profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects. We do not use your information for that kind of profiling.
- Limit sensitive information. Ask us to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not use it in ways that require this option.
- Withdraw consent. Stop calls, texts or emails at any time.
- No retaliation. We will not treat you differently or deny you help because you used a right.
Who can use them
Residents of California and of other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights, subject to legal exceptions. We offer the opt-out choices on our Do Not Sell or Share page to everyone in the United States, whatever state you live in.
How to make a request
- Contact us. Call (877) 577-1203 (toll-free) or email [email protected]. Tell us which right you want to use. To opt out of sale or sharing, you can also use the opt-out page.
- We may verify it is you. For requests to know, delete or correct, we will ask for details that match what we already hold, usually your name, email and phone number. We will not ask for your Social Security number. Opt-out requests do not need verification beyond what is needed to find your records.
- We respond. We confirm we received your request and answer within the time your state’s law requires. If we need more time, we will tell you why. There is no fee unless a request is clearly excessive.
Authorized agents
You may have someone act for you. We will need your signed written permission for that person, and we may confirm the request directly with you.
If we say no: appeals
If we decline all or part of a request, our response will say why. If you disagree, reply to it with the word “Appeal,” or email [email protected] with the subject “Privacy appeal,” and explain why. Someone who was not involved in the first decision will review it, and we will answer in writing within the time your state’s law sets. If you are still not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general or, in California, the California Privacy Protection Agency.
Extra details for some states
- California. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you may ask once a year which categories of personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing, and to whom. Write to the address below.
- Nevada. You may submit a request to opt out of the sale of covered information through the opt-out page or by email.
- Oregon and Minnesota. You may ask for a list of the specific third parties to which we have disclosed personal data.
Children’s privacy
This site is for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
We link to government and consumer-protection sites and may point you to independent providers. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Check their policies before you share anything.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy regularly and update it when our practices or the law change. The “last updated” date at the top shows the current version. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site or contact you directly where the law requires.
